I graduated with honors, from the Soma Institute for Clinical Massage Therapy, in Chicago, in 2006. The Soma Institute program is 750 class hours, including extensive coursework in anatomy, pathology, physiology and kinesiology, and hands-on training in various modalities. Hands-on work included protocols addressing specific postural dysfunctions, overuse injuries and pain management, as well as practical experience at the student clinic and the Northwestern Hospital Oncology unit. I compliment the clinical massage focus with Reiki, chakra and field balancing techniques studied at the California Academy of Healing Arts, in Cost Mesa, CA, and Discover Healing in Utah.

In 2006 I practiced at the Galter Life Center, the fitness and rehabilitative center for Swedish Covenant Hospital and I had a private clientele.

Volunteer work included massage the medical tent at mile 18 for the Chicago Marathon in 2005 and 2006.

Since returning to California in 2006 I have a private clientele.
